I have been on the Internet for quite some time now, and I did not realize just how many friends I had. But lately I started really reading their post. I found that I had friends who were warlocks, witches, communist, freaks, terrorist, religious beliefs that I don't believe in. And, in my opinion some just mean people. I don't have friends like that. Not in the real world, so why should I do it on Web? There is no reason.
Now I am no saint, however my moral values are mine and I can live with that. Anyway I started deleting so called Facebook friends. In my real life, I have no room for freeloaders, pedophiles, drug users, animal, children, people abusers and a host of other things that I considers to be offensive to me, my God or my country.
So shamefully to me I have deleted about three forths of my friends. Facebook encourages me to make friends with everyone and every one of their friends. In my real life I am very careful about who I trust and call "friend".
I suppose if someone on wants to add me as a friend, that person will look at my friends to see whom I share life with and in checking me out, us say, a christian finds out that I am a friend with an atheist that person who could become a good online friend would reject me. Alas what a loss that could be.
Here is who my real life friends are like. Some of the younger ones smoke pot. Most drink beer and whiskey, some go to church, some don't, some cuss, some chew tobacco and spit, most have a pet, most have a job, some are looking for a job and that is the governments fault. None of them will curse my GOD, burn my flag or harm a child, old person or animal in front of me because they know I would try to hurt them. My friends are good people, God fearing, hard workers and I have friends of all color, all religions, Jesus said "In my Fathers house are many mansions" I really don't know what He means by that, no more than do I understand why Jesus said "And lead us not into temptation."
I am the worlds worse judge of character, I trust everyone until I find that devil inside them.
Now if I deleted you, maybe it was because you have so many friends that you don't have time for me and I wont brother you. Or maybe you never recognize me in all this crowd of people on the web. But I could have made a mistake and really like you. Us talk about it. But I don't want 10,000 friends. It is not possible for me to be a good friend to that many people. I am this kind of friend, If you need help I will be there for you and know this. I got on the Internet in 1989 and I have met a bunch of my good online friends,
So if you are reading this, there is a good chance that I have asked you to be an online buddy. If you are a good person, please ask me to be a friend.
[Stop.] How many people can I be a true and dependable friend to? I will work on that starting right now. "Click"
